    • Blown transformer

      The transformer/rectifier has blown On my burglar alarm circuit board. It’s all 12v with a backup battery charged from the transformer, so I’m assuming it must be a DC output.
      Will this 240/12V be an adequate replacement ?

      Can you place a dimmer in front of the unit to DIM the LED Strips? This would be the most cost effetive solution. For example FGD-212, Fibaro – Dimmer 2 Gen 5.

      The unit converts 240V AC to 12 DC. If I connect it to a 12V DC Car Battery, will it provide me 240V AC? In other words, can I reverse its function?
