Here is the difference between the rubber outsole and the suede outsole:
Suede soles: for very smooth floors, as suede will offer better grip
Rubber soles: for slippery floors porcelain, marble, some types of hardwood

You must measured your foot girth wrongly. The girth is not the foot width, it should be all the way round the widest part of your foot. Please measure it again and scroll down the shoes page to choose your correct size.
